The 30th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival
The Whitaker International Film Festival is occurring November 4 - 21, 2o21. Head over to the Tivoli Theatre where the majority of the screenings are happening this year. Additional films can be enjoyed in person at Washington University, Webster University, St. Louis Public Library's Central Library Auditorium, and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. Additionally, many, many films and shorts will be available virtually via STIFF (St. Louis International Film Festival).

Apple Butter Festival
The Apple Butter Festival in Kimmswick is a short 30-minute drive from downtown. This year, the festival is the weekend of October 30th – 31st, 2021 from 10 am – 5 pm. The main road is closed down and it's fun to walk around and enjoy everything fall offers from apple butter to pumpkins to more. Kids will especially enjoy this festival with it's mini train and petting zoo.
Boo at the Zoo
Visit the St. Louis Zoo decked out for the fall season. It's kid-friendly so nothing is outrageously scary. Touted as a not-so-scary Halloween activity, you can visit 5 pm - 8:30 pm daily starting October 13 - 31, 2021. Tickets are required.
